ISS STOXX is actively hiring a Senior Front End Engineer for Mumbai (Goregaon East) location.
Overview:
Join our dynamic Data Products team as a Senior Front-End Engineer, where you'll play a key role in building and maintaining ISS DataDesk—a cutting-edge screening and analytics platform for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact software using modern technologies and development practices.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software for both client-facing products and internal tools.
Collaborate with engineering peers, product managers, UX designers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Build responsive and intuitive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and ReactJS.
Write robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
BE/B-Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Zustand), along with experience in TypeScript.
Familiarity with data visualization libraries like D3.js and immutable data structures.
Experience with modern front-end build tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, NPM).
Solid understanding of ES6+, design patterns, and front-end security best practices.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Puppeteer, Jest, React Testing Library), CI/CD pipelines, and RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of Node.js and Git-based version control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for crafting clean, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces.
