As a key contributor to the Global Brand and Marketing team, the Global Event Operations team drives business success through the flawless execution of the highest-profile corporate meetings and events.

The Senior Planner is at the forefront of driving business success through unforgettable events. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and execute high-profile events that align with our strategic objectives. By effectively managing budgets, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering innovate events, the Senior Planner play a crucial role in achieving organizational goals and leave lasting impression on attendees. You'll collaborate with all lines of businesses in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
• Lead and inspire the event team to deliver exceptional experiences overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.
• Create innovative event concepts and themes and design engaging experiences.
• Manage event budgets and resources effectively and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Oversee event logistics, from venue selection to on-site management and monitor event progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with vendors and suppliers to deliver high-quality services.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- 5 + years of relevant event management experience in a global environment
- Demonstrated innovation in conference management and implementation.
- Experience preparing and managing budgets, financial plans, and related assumptions.
- Adept at contract negotiation with thorough knowledge of legal issues, contract language in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to advise, influence and lead diverse audiences.
- Proven project management skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple initiatives with different stakeholders, timelines, scale, and scope.
- Requires extensive travel (25% on average) and non-traditional hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelors preferred

- Foreign language skills a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese)
The salary range for applicants for this position is 89,600 - 102,000.
