Lead delivery of high-quality design and statutory drawing packages for Mumbai-region projects. Own design portfolios, coordinate with sub-consultants and permitting consultants, manage resourcing and manpower budgets, mentor and develop reporting team members, present signed-off concept designs to stakeholders, and prevent client escalations through accurate documentation and design coordination.
Primary Responsibilities (what are the main objectives of the role):
- To deliver the highest quality design & drawing portfolio in a timely & efficient manner
- Ownership of Statutory drawings (for Mumbai and Mumbai Region projects).
- To ensure adherence to manpower budgets for each activity in projects being handled.
- To grow professionally and facilitate professional growth and development of the reporting team
- To provide timely and complete design solutions to clients, engendering high levels of satisfaction.
Role Description -– Roles to be performed to fulfil the above responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Take complete responsibility for the quality of design portfolio of the entrusted projects.
- Create the best possible design responses to project design demands resulting in award winning creative designs.
- Create complete and comprehensive design portfolios at every stage of the design process backed up by accurate documentation
- Coordinate with all sub-consultants as well as design support services to deliver fully coordinated designs and design portfolios.
- Take complete responsibility of Edifices scope related to preparation of Statutory submission drawings including necessary coordination with the Permitting Consultant (for projects in Mumbai and Mumbai region only).
- Ensure efficient project delivery in line with the planned resourcing and timelines.
- Grow professionally by achieving personal advancement goals & facilitate professional growth of reporting team by facilitating the same amongst the team members, ensure timely and fair assessments & high levels of motivation.
- Make internal presentations of the final signed-off Concept design to all stakeholders (Edifice Studio team, Edifice Regional team and external Consultants)
- Ensure no client escalations on account of design coordination or documentation errors. Forewarn the Project Head about any likely design escalations.
