Designs and maintains enterprise data models for banking applications, translating business requirements into scalable conceptual, logical, and physical models. Ensures data quality, governance, performance, and maintainability while supporting data warehousing and integration initiatives. Leads Oracle-to-Netezza data migration activities and collaborates with stakeholders, architects, and development teams. Requires extensive data modeling experience, strong Oracle and SQL expertise, and banking domain knowledge.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Modeler.
- Strong experience in the Banking domain.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Teradata or Netezza (MPP architecture)
- Experience with Data Migration Project
- Knowledge of banking regulatory and compliance data requirements is a plus.
