We are looking for a talented Client Service Senior Analyst for the YouGov Sport media team who brings strong analytical skills, balanced with robust project management and first-class communication skills.
The Role:
- You will ensure high levels of service for existing YouGov Sport media clients, acting as a dedicated point of contact, and bringing in specialists where needed.
- You will be accountable for efficient and effective management of client deliveries – ensuring best guidance and expectation setting from initial brief through to final deliverable.
- You will thoroughly understand the media and commercial landscape of sport to better service YouGov Sport clients
- You will provide first class analysis of media data, to present bespoke insight reports to clients.
- You will work alongside the Commercial and Reporting teams to ensure that media research deliverables are optimal from a client perspective, delivering clear commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients to deliver on planned contractual deliverables and ad hoc requests.
- Communicate regularly with clients to understand their challenges and support the commercial conversations.
- Proactively manage the briefing of client media projects into data procurement team, specifically to ensure that the scope of works and brief are clear in relation to deliverables and timing
- Gather and consolidate media data from a range of sources, understanding when and how to accurately extrapolate findings to support broader insights.
- Analyse media data sets in a way that unearths relevant and impactful insights for clients.
- Work with Reporting team to ensure projects are delivered on time and monitor progress against deadlines.
- Manage expectations of clients in relation to delivery of projects
- Act as the last line of defence before reports are sent to clients, ensuring data looks right and commentary is insightful.
- Manage and deliver ad hoc requests providing first class analysis and insight reports
- Manage the smooth transition of new clients into YouGov Sport, working with them to harmonise reporting and commercial impact
- Manage the client dashboard including set up, access requirements and demonstration/training of functionality
- Understand client’s strategy to ensure that existing solutions meet their needs and identify opportunities to upsell additional YouGov solutions through product knowledge
- Line management of junior team members, with analytical expertise and a growing interest in client management.

- Ability to multi-task with strong organisational and project management skills.
- A focus on client deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to write and present key themes clearly and concisely.
- Strong ability in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in other languages also desired, but not essential.
