Overview:

As a Senior Billing Analyst, you will be an active lead to all Billing Analysts as well as manage your own responsibilities. This position reports to the Global Billing Manager and working hours will be 2:00pm IST -11:00pm IST. 

You will: 

  • Oversight and execution of billing for all of LivePerson’s customers, including subscription and transactional products.
  • Oversight of the Billing Team.
  • Ensure existing customers receive excellent service, accurate invoicing, and custom billing solutions.
  • Resolve all billing errors; work with various teams to implement automated fixes and/or manual controls to prevent identified errors.
  • Subject Matter Expert for billing processes; participate and review testing of system enhancements/modifications to existing functionality and processes.
  • Prepare and review various billing analyses and reconciliations; identify potential issues, recommend and implement process improvements.
  • This role interacts with multiple departments across LivePerson. It also involves extensive customer and other 3rd party interaction.
  • Responsible for professional execution of accurate and timely billing which drives cash flow and financial performance as well as internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Help work with and discover how each individual team member contributes their talents and help them achieve their goals.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting) or 5+ years of work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of billing experience (preferably within SaaS or technology industry).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience MSA (contract) review.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience is required. 
  • Advanced Excel is required.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) is a plus, not required. 
  • Experience with business systems like Zuora, and Salesforce - a huge bonus.
  • Ability to create reports/presentations.
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and understand general ledger transactions.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and experience with month-end closing processes.
  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills required; Develops solutions to problems, identifies and proposes alternatives.
  • Independently determines/develops solution approach; Self-motivated and action-oriented; hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” mentality required.
  • Strong work ethic, results-driven, and commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving company and department goals.
  • Ability to successfully accomplish all responsibilities in a fast-paced, growing and demanding environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
