About this opportunity:
It will be practically impossible for human brains to understand how to run and optimize next generation of wireless networks, i.e., 5G networks with distributed edge compute, that will drive economic and social transformation for all aspects of society. Machine Learning (ML) and other Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies will be vital for us to handle this opportunity. We are expanding the Ericsson MLOps Engineering Unit with tech savvy developers with right attitude and skillset.
MLOps is an iterative process for building, deploying, operationalizing, and observing AI/ML systems. MLOps aim is to manage the end-to-end life cycle of AI/ML models through all the phases, experimentation, development, deployment, model performance monitoring and re-training and, when needed, re-design and re-architecture to keep models operating in optimal conditions in production environments. A MLOps platform provides services and components to assist and guide organizations through this iterative process. MLOps platform components are designed to overcome the challenges to develop and operate AI/ML systems at industrial scale on production environments.
Ericsson is now looking for Security Master to expand its MLOps Engineering Development team based in Chennai.
You will do:
Security Strategy & Governance

• Drive and implement product and platform security strategy.
• Establish security standards, policies, and best practices across development teams.
• Lead security maturity and risk-reduction initiatives.

DevSecOps & Secure SDLC

• Embed security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Define secure coding guidelines and perform threat modeling.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated security and vulnerability analysis.

Vulnerability Management

• Lead vulnerability triage and risk assessment.
• Provide impact analysis and remediation guidance for CVEs.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to drive remediation.

Container Security

• Secure Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and hardening standards.

Security Architecture & Reviews

• Conduct architecture and design security reviews.
• Identify security risks in new services and features.
• Perform threat modeling and security risk assessments.

Security Awareness & Enablement

• Mentor engineering teams on secure development practices.
• Conduct security workshops and training sessions.
• Promote a strong security culture across the organization.

You will bring:

• Strong knowledge of:

1. • Application Security (OWASP Top 10)
   • API Security
   • Kubernetes and container security

• Hands-on experience with security tools:

1. • SAST tools
   • Container, image, web, port and Kubernetes scanners
   • Secrets and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scanners

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management and CVE triage.
• Background in secure architecture and risk assessment for microservices/cloud-native environments.
• Goot to have:

1. • Experience in MLOps / AI platform security
   • Knowledge of and hands-on experience in penetration testing.

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines from any of the reputed institutes. First Class, preferably with Distinction.
• Applied experience: 2+ years of experience with infrastructure, platforms, networking, and software systems; and an overall industry experience of about 4+ years.
