Lead financial control and legal oversight for an SBU: drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, cashflow and cost-to-complete governance; enforce DOA payment controls and SAP/WBS cost coding; manage statutory compliance and audits; review key contract terms and dispute prevention; support collections and financial compliance; maintain financial/legal risk register and drive mitigations.
Responsibilities
1. Drive annual/phase budgets, rolling forecasts and cashflow plans track variances and corrective actions. 2. Run cost-to-complete and contingency governance with PMO/Projects flag overruns early. 3. Ensure DOA-based payment controls, certifications and documentation for audit-ready processing. 4. Maintain SAP/WBS/CTC discipline, cost coding integrity and financial MIS for governance forums. 5. Review legal terms for key contracts and changes support notices, claims and dispute prevention strategy. 6. Oversee statutory financial compliance and coordinate audits close observations with evidence trails. 7. Support sales/CRM on financial compliance for demand letters, collections and registrations as required. 8. Maintain risk register for financial/legal exposures and drive mitigation actions with owners.
Qualifications Qualifications Essential CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com from a recognized Indian institution; qualification to match role seniority. Desirable/Preferable CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) with exposure to real estate, project finance or treasury systems.
