SAP GTS Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of GTS Compliance Legal regulations, particularly in Embargo, SPL (Sanctioned Party List), and Legal Control. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure seamless compliance with international trade regulations and legal requirements, with a strong focus on Europe, US, and China related licenses.

Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate expertise in GTS Compliance Legal regulations, including Embargo, SPL, and Legal Control, and stay updated on any changes or updates to these regulations.
   

2. Collaborate with various teams to perform document type mapping, item category mapping, master data transfer, and change pointers for effective GTS Compliance processes.
   

3. Utilize BADI enhancements in ECC (Enterprise Core Component) for smooth document transfer, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
   

4. Facilitate the integration between ECC and GTS, handling enhancements, configurations, and generating reports related to document blocks and follow-on document processes.
   

5. Possess extensive knowledge of Legal Control, focusing on Europe, US, and China related licenses, both local and international, and ensure adherence to these regulations in all trade transactions.
   

6. Coordinate the integration of GTS Compliance module with GTS Customs management, fostering a seamless end-to-end trade compliance process.
   

7. Create comprehensive solution designs and functional specifications for GTS Compliance projects, ensuring a clear understanding of the requirements and deliverables.
   

8. Demonstrate proficiency in working with GTS tables, leveraging them to optimize compliance processes and reporting.
   

9. Collaborate with non-SAP systems and teams to integrate GTS Compliance functionalities, ensuring smooth information exchange and compliance throughout the supply chain.
   

10. Provide problem-solving expertise and advisory support to the Business regarding requirement forecasts and trade compliance challenges.
    

11. Support the production release cycle, ensuring successful deployment of GTS Compliance solutions, and provide hypercare support to address any post-implementation issues.
    

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  
• Extensive experience in SAP GTS Compliance, with a focus on Embargo, SPL, and Legal Control.
  
• Strong knowledge of document type mapping, item category mapping, and master data transfer within GTS Compliance.
  
• Experience with BADI enhancements in ECC for document transfer.
  
• Proficient in ECC-GTS integration, enhancements, and configuration related to document blocks and follow-on document processes.
  
• Solid understanding of Legal Control regulations, particularly in Europe, US, and China.
  
• Familiarity with GTS Customs management and its integration with GTS Compliance.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide advisory support to Business teams.
  
• Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects when required.
  
• Prior experience in the production release cycle and hypercare support is an advantage.
