The Sales Manager is responsible for P&L management, executing sales strategies, mentoring teams, customer engagement, and driving growth in Gas products.
Key Roles and responsibilities:
- Responsible for P&L of PMC-GAS business. Plan and execute strategies for all the key growth elements on Orders, revenue, margins etc. Overall responsibility to formulate and execute GAS STRAP and drive the desired growth and lead a team of high performing individuals
- The position will require mentor and drive the Sales, operations and services to develop and execute account specific strategies for the short & medium to long term.
- Strong focus on people development and enhance organizational capabilities
- Candidate should be self starting & relevant experience in End Customer Handling.
- Identification of opportunities; pipeline development. Opportunity management, and Forecast accuracy in meeting AOP target.
- Develop new Customer with competitive displacement
- Techno-Commercial understanding of proposals, Clear Value Proposition for the Solution to the customer. Creating Account Plan & sales strategies for all key pursuits by working closely with the LOB Leader, P&E, Sourcing team .
- Lead the complete sales process right from opportunity creation & offer submission to the participating negotiations & order closing. Effective Usage of Sales tool as per Company guidelines & requirement.
- Know-how of Tendering process & should have managed tendering for PSU’s
- Work on continuous enhancement of solution to drive competitive differentiation. Spec-in Honeywell technical advantages & competition price loaders & disqualifiers in the RFQ by working closely with PBL & Technical consultants.
- Should have followed Sales process Compliance, Siebel/ SFDC, TAS Plan; Win-Loss MIS and Siebel /SFDC Database management
Key Skills required:
- Have a detailed knowhow about the Gas metering Skids & Gas Products like Gas Chromatograph, Flow Meters, EVC, Flow Computers, Regulators, Valves, Control Systems.
- Understanding & experience in Gas Sales for customers within region.
- Customer connect & engagement at various decision taking levels.
- Should be always on top of exploring Upselling Opportunities
- Ability to establish connect and interact with customer at various /CXO Level
- Ability to motivate and build high performing teams.
- Ability to provide reliable judgment in complex / high pressure situations
Qualification:
- Exp - 12-18+ years considering this would P&L leadership role
- Should have managed team / have DRs
- BE/ Engg Diploma in Instrumentation or Similar industry experience can be considered
