Job Description

Third Bridge’s Sales Team is responsible for fueling the growth of the Third Bridge business
through new client acquisition. The Sales Development Representative role (or Sales Associate role) is a great opportunity to develop business acumen, deepen the understanding of sales processes and methodologies, and develop lead generation and prospecting skills. Our immediate need is for a junior associate level where you will partner with a Sales Representative (AVP / VP Sales) to create and drive new business, and as such, are responsible for supporting the new client acquisition end-to-end process.
The Sales Development Representative will aim to become a trusted resource of Sales Representatives and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact.


PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:

  • Lead prospecting activities to identify and engage with potential investors and strategic partners with institutional investment firms (across public equity, private equity and credit funds ecosystem), fostering awareness of Third Bridge's services and arranging high-quality interactions.

  • Support the development and management of a robust new business pipeline within the institutional investment domain, balancing the creation of new opportunities with successful conversion strategies.

  • Contribute to the formulation of quarterly territory plans led by the Sales Representatives, with a keen focus on aligning efforts with the unique dynamics of the investment market to achieve ambitious quota targets.

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Third Bridge’s solutions, emphasising their relevance and value proposition within the institutional investment landscape, and adeptly leverage this knowledge in all client engagements.

  • Effectively collaborate with Sales Representatives to meticulously document all client interactions and activities within internal systems, ensuring seamless coordination and transparency throughout the sales process, utilising platforms such as Salesforce.com.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to pinpoint top prospects within the investment industry, discerning their specific needs and tailoring outreach strategies accordingly to establish credibility and generate interest.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders of prospects, fostering active communication and engagement to cultivate lasting partnerships based on mutual benefit and trust.

  • Consistently apply an insightful approach to all internal and client-facing activities, leveraging industry expertise and market intelligence to deliver impactful solutions that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by investment professionals.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s investment focus, portfolio composition, and strategic objectives, enabling personalised engagement and value-driven interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 1 to 4 years of sales experience preferably covering institutions. 

  • Preferable experience within the financial services industry covering public equity, private equity or credit funds but not a must, demonstrating a strong track record of quota achievement and client engagement.

  • Proven experience in lead generation through cold calling and various prospecting tools.

  • Proficiency in leveraging internal resources, tools, and systems, including Salesforce.com, to streamline workflow processes and optimise sales performance.

  • Thrives in a target driven and fast paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts and build rapport with high-level stakeholders within the target client base.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning, coupled with the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment characterised by continuous change and innovation.

  • Strong time management and organisational abilities, with a knack for multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets within the demanding financial services space.
