We are looking for a SaaS RegTech Analyst & Whitepaper Writer who will create highly technical, research-driven content to position our products as market leaders. This role sits at the intersection of product marketing, technology research, and thought leadership, crafting whitepapers, industry reports, and in-depth technical content for C-level executives, compliance teams, and SaaS buyers.
Role Overview
As a SaaS RegTech Analyst & Whitepaper Writer, you will research and develop data-driven, strategic content that educates the market, establishes industry authority, and drives product adoption. You will create deep-dive whitepapers, market trend reports, technical case studies, and competitive analysis insights, blending technical expertise with compelling storytelling.
This role is ideal for a product marketing professional with a research-driven mindset and an interest in RegTech, AML/KYC compliance, AI-driven risk management, and digital identity verification.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Industry Research (SaaS & RegTech Focus)
- Conduct in-depth market research on the RegTech, AI-driven compliance, and identity verification industries.
- Analyze trends in AML, KYC, fraud prevention, data privacy regulations (GDPR, PSD2, FATF, OFAC, etc.), and produce thought leadership reports.
- Benchmark Programmers Force's SaaS solutions against competitors like Jumio, Onfido, Trulioo, ComplyAdvantage, and Sumsub.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to develop technical deep-dives on how our SaaS solutions solve industry challenges.
Whitepaper & Technical Content Development
- Develop highly technical whitepapers explaining complex SaaS architectures, AI algorithms, and compliance automation in a digestible format.
- Write research-backed industry reports, buyer’s guides, and analyst briefs tailored for CISOs, CTOs, compliance officers, and regulators.
- Produce case studies showcasing how our SaaS solutions solve real-world compliance challenges.
- Work with data teams to integrate original insights, survey results, and statistical findings into content.
Product Marketing & Strategic Positioning
- Translate technical capabilities into business value propositions that resonate with B2B decision-makers.
- Align whitepapers, reports, and case studies with sales enablement, go-to-market strategies, and demand generation.
- Create messaging frameworks that position our AML/KYC solutions as industry-leading.
- Assist in thought leadership initiatives by ghostwriting articles, reports, and insights for executive stakeholders.
Competitive & Regulatory Analysis
- Track regulatory changes and compliance challenges impacting financial institutions, fintechs, and digital businesses.
- Conduct competitive intelligence to highlight our unique selling propositions (USPs) in the identity verification and AML space.
- Develop data-backed comparisons between our SaaS offerings and key market competitors.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have:
- 5+ years experience in product marketing, SaaS research, technical content writing, or market analysis.
- Expertise in RegTech, AML, KYC, fraud prevention, or compliance automation (or strong ability to learn).
- Experience writing highly technical whitepapers, industry reports, or SaaS product briefs.
- Ability to translate AI-driven SaaS solutions and compliance frameworks into clear, engaging content for different audiences.
- Strong knowledge of B2B SaaS sales cycles, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and compliance-driven purchasing decisions.
- Hands-on experience conducting competitive research and product positioning.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working with B2B SaaS providers in FinTech, RegTech, or Identity Verification.
- Familiarity with AML regulations (FATF, OFAC, GDPR, PSD2, MAS, etc.).
- Ability to work with data teams to create research-driven content with insights, charts, and industry statistics.
- Experience in executive ghostwriting, analyst briefings, or industry event content creation.
