Job Description
Job Title: RPA Business Analyst
Location: Hyderabad
The Opportunity
Enterprise Automation Business Analyst will work closely with business teams to review their processes end-to-end, identify opportunities for building automation using RPA (Robotics Process Automation) software, and suggest process improvements to make automation viable. Additionally, the Business Analyst will lead the RPA team in feasibility analysis, prepare detailed process analysis and automation requirement documentation, and work directly with developers and testers to solution new automation implementations. The Business Analyst will maintain an ongoing relationship with business partners and technology partners.

Responsibilities:
Process Analysis & Documentation: Conduct end-to-end process reviews and identify automation opportunities. Prepare Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD). Perform feasibility analysis for automation and recommend optimizations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business process owners to capture requirements. Act as a liaison between business teams and RPA developers. Facilitate workshops and UAT sessions for automation validation.
Solution Design Support: Work with Solution Architects and UiPath developers to ensure alignment of requirements and technical design. Participate in brainstorming sessions for automation solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist in creating test scenarios and validating automation outputs. Ensure compliance with enterprise non-functional requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify reusable components and best practices for automation. Support adoption of advanced capabilities like Document Understanding, Communication Mining, and AI/ML integration.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering or related
Proven experience in process analysis, process improvement, and RPA implementation
5-8 years of related experience in Business Analysis, preferably within the Insurance or technology or financial services industry
1-3 years application development or QA experience
Minimum 3+ years UiPath or equivalent relevant RPA experience strongly preferred
Good oral/written communication and strong commitment to professional/service excellence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective relationship building skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with ambiguity and unexpected challenges in an environment in its’ early stages of continuous improvement
Affinity for a high-performance, project-oriented work environment; ability to pivot to critical path tasks as necessary
Experience with RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism is highly desirable
Proficiency in process documentation tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Experience with Intelligent Document processing, OCR/IDP, NLP, Agentic AI or other Artificial Intelligence automation capabilities is highly desirable
Team oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
Enthusiasm to work with a global team.
Flexibility to work in U.S. time zones preferred.
Certifications (Preferred)
UiPath Automation Business Analyst or UiARD certification.
Agile/Scrum certification.
