Manager, Regional Sales

POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
This regional management position oversees the Western part of India. Your job would be to visit the region for customer interface as required and manage the overall sales goals, accomplishments and strategies. Therefore, it will be expected that the Regional Manager Sales provide focused strategic and tactical marketing leadership to the organization The expected result will be the definition and practical implementation of strategies and tactics that will ensure that organic growth goals are met.
Principal Activities
- Responsible for strategically developing the business and establishing strong relationships with key customers and coordinates the sales team
- Developing & implementing the sales plan to achieve established sales and financial goals.
- Supporting and managing the sales & marketing Team. Team leadership and Decision-making
- Motivate team with ability to expose to the commercial aspects of the business, Must accustomed to voluminous business.
- Travels with sales team and sales channels to help identify opportunities for the business unit’s products, gain product approvals, influence specifications and successfully close open quotes.
- Meets with key customers, assisting others with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Develop marketing strategies that focus on the external marketplace and identify growth opportunities on a customer, geographic, market application and product basis.
- New Dealers & Distributers Appointment, Management and Market share Development.
- Monitoring and analyzing Market trends and Competitors activities and responsibilities include monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results.
- Responsible for all branch activity
- Responsible for Branch Target
- Can super head the marketing process and functions & can lead the team of marketing professionals.
- Lends experience in reviews of the market analyses to determine customer needs and participates in the activities related to establishing price schedules and discount rates.
- Represents company at Trade Association meetings, Trade shows and technical seminars etc. to promote the product.
- Produces competitive analysis, comparing product offering with key competitors, and provide tactical action plans to close and then overtake gaps that are identified.
- Visits with end user customers to nurture the business relationship and gain VOC knowledge of their plans, market views, competition views, trends, etc.
- Responsible for knowing competition’s strategy, strengths and weaknesses within his/her scope of responsibility and participates in the development of counter-measures.
Responsible for internal coordination for order processing with design & engineering, documents approval, order execution and collections
Requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- 10-15 years of increasing responsibility in market development, market research or strategic planning activities.
- Multi-National business interface.
- Good command / skills in English, oral & in writing. Other languages appreciated.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Masters in Business Administration preferred.
