You are responsible for executing sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, evaluation and management, and negotiating contract terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and supply chain stability. As a Purchase Executive, you’re not just supporting the procurement and inventory management process – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
ResponsibilitiesHere’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Support purchasing and receiving operations: Assist with procurement, oversee receiving processes, and manage inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure efficient stock management
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with outlet managers to ensure purchases meet operational needs and specifications
- Process invoices: Review invoices for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment and issue resolution
- Assist with supplier management: Help secure competitive pricing, place orders, and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
- Perform quality checks: Inspect shipments to verify they meet order specifications, grade, and quality standards
- Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise purchasing and receiving clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Experience in hospitality procurement or similar industry.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and inventory software.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and that the company's ethical standards are upheld at all times.
