ResponsibilitiesManagerial Responsibilities
- The Assistant Project Manager for Trade Finance plays a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end delivery of trade finance initiatives.
- You will partner closely with the Project Manager to define project scope, articulate clear objectives, establish robust timelines, and map out deliverables.
- Leveraging your strong organizational skills, you will coordinate high-value transactions, maintain stringent quality and turnaround-time (TAT) controls, and drive continuous process improvements through digitization and process-mining efforts.
Functional Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and monitor trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, and collections.
- Handle above-threshold value transactions for designated territories, ensuring compliance with quality and turnaround-time targets.
- Manage daily queue allocation and task distribution to team members, acting as the first line of escalation for agent-related queries and process updates.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation: status reports, meeting minutes, process maps, and risk logs.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Identify areas of underperformance, propose corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement or automation opportunities.
Qualifications: M.Tech/B.Tech Or Equivalent Bachelors Degree
Experience: 10 to 12 years
