Own the lifecycle and strategy of secured working capital products, including cash credit, overdrafts, term loans, and collateral-backed structures. Responsibilities include pricing, profitability, portfolio performance, risk alignment, product design, deal support, process optimization, digitization, and stakeholder coordination across Credit, Risk, Sales, Operations, Legal, Technology, and Compliance. The role also develops enablement materials, analyzes portfolio trends, resolves escalations, and drives sustainable growth and improved customer outcomes.

Role Purpose
The Product Manager – Secured Working Capital Loans will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of secured working capital products including Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), Working Capital Term Loans (WCTL), and collateral-backed WC structures.
The role involves pricing, policy alignment, process optimization, and performance management, while working closely with Credit, Risk, Sales, Operations, Legal, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure sustainable portfolio growth and strong customer outcomes.

- Leveraging secured lending experience
- Aligning with process, policy and key stakeholders
- Cross‑learning on portfolio behavior and risk frameworks
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own the product lifecycle for secured WC products – design, program frameworks, enhancements and rationalization.
- Define product positioning, target customer segments, eligibility logic and value proposition.
- Drive sustainable portfolio growth with balanced focus on volumes, yield, risk and customer outcomes.
Portfolio, Pricing & Analytics
- Own pricing frameworks, ROI logic and profitability levers.
- Track portfolio performance across:
- Renewals, Portfolio Health, Utilization and churn
- Track major Income lines
- Use data‑led insights on identifying problems and subsequently resolving issues.
- Support complex deal structures
- Address product or policy‑related escalations
- Incorporate field feedback into product design
Business Enablement & Deal Support
- Develop and maintain product notes, FAQs, internal decks and training material for Business and Credit stakeholders.
Process, Journey & Digitization
- Work with Operations and Technology teams to:
- Simplify transaction and drawls process
- Reduce friction in documentation and fund availing processes
- Drive journey improvements while maintaining strong credit discipline and compliance.
- Track market and competitor trends in secured WC lending and recommend responses.

Relevant Backgrounds
- Experience with:
- Credit appraisal or program frameworks
- Deal structuring and deviations
- Portfolio management or renewals
- Customer‑level profitability and risk assessment
Experience & Qualification
- 3–4 years of overall experience in Business Banking / MSME / Secured Lending
- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred (not mandatory for strong internal candidates)
