Digital Asset Servicing Specialist for GCC
Role Location: India
Department: Fund Administration
Employment Type: Full-time
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be expected to act as a subject matter expert for GCC in the servicing of Digital Asset funds. Bringing specialist expertise to the day to day operations of Digital Asset funds and contributing to the development and improvement of operational workflows, they will be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise across GCC teams as Digital Asset services scale across different jurisdictions.
- Apply experience and knowledge to assist colleagues working in the day-to-day operations teams servicing Digital Asset funds and act as the liaison for GCC in all matters of onboarding and launching new digital asset funds;
- Contribute to the evolution and deployment of scalable and resilient Digital Asset operating models within GCC teams;
- Ensure that GCC teams are prepared to support the expansion of Digital Assets into new jurisdictions and servicing locations across Apex collaborating with colleagues to ensure essential knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
- Become an expert user of specialist third party technology products used in servicing Digital Asset funds. Where required undertake the role of administrator for one or more products supporting both configuration and user management.
Skills Required:
- Broad experience in fund servicing and a strong working knowledge of the end to end processes and responsibilities of a fund administrator;
- Specific experience in client and investor onboarding and the associated regulatory, compliance, risk management and due diligence controls related to these activities.
- Possess an understanding of how Digital Asset technology and regulation are contributing to innovation in capital markets and the funds industry.
- Have a smart and outgoing personality with excellent Customer Service skills;
- Be a collaborative and supportive team member whilst being able to work on own your initiative without close direction;
- Be capable of planning, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines;
- Have an eye for detail and the ability to handle complex matters;
- Excellent command of spoken and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Word, Excel and Access. (Experience on PFS - Paxus will be considered as an advantage)
