Role Overview
As a Senior Frontend Developer at eClerx, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, responsive, and visually stunning web interfaces. You will bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how the application looks as well as how it works. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a client-interfacing environment and can manage complex requirements across APJ, EMEA, and US shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Development: Develop and maintain sophisticated website pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Framework Excellence: Build scalable applications using modern frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.
- Responsive Design: Implement mobile-first and responsive design principles to ensure a seamless experience across all devices and screen sizes.
- Quality & Standards: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure team adherence to best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to interpret visual designs from tools like Figma or Photoshop and translate them into functional code.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues, providing efficient and long-term technical solutions.
- Agile Participation: Engage in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely project delivery.
- Client Interfacing: Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and clients to align project goals with business requirements.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Education: BCA, BSc in IT/CS, or an equivalent technical graduation.
- Experience: 5–7 years of proven expertise in Frontend Development.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work proactively under tight deadlines.
- Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Design Sense: Solid understanding of UI/UX concepts, visual hierarchy, and design best practices.
- Shift Flexibility: Comfortable working across APJ, EMEA, and US shifts as per project needs.
