Job Description

The Private Markets team at Third Bridge supports European and North American Private Equity funds with their primary research needs by leveraging a portfolio of services & content available. You will join our content team based in Mumbai, whose aim is to build the world's most extensive content library for PE/VC-backed companies across the US and Europe. Our content will allow investors in private markets to identify, track and research investment opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for making sure we deliver our commitment to producing high-quality content to our private equity investment clients globally. As well as coaching and supporting your team of Quality Assurance Associates daily and holding them to exceptional quality standards, you will be responsible for collaborating with the compliance team, identifying process improvement opportunities and enhancing the content production team’s effectiveness.

The successful candidate will show an ability to lead a team, assess content accuracy, and proactively identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement. We are looking for candidates with an obsession to deliver high quality written content to our private equity clients.

Responsibilities


Quality Assurance

  • Review and score Primer interviews and Tearsheets covering a variety of sectors, ensuring they consistently adhere to Third Bridge’s Style Guide. This will include minor editing and suggesting relevant changes, balancing tone, concision, and ensuring an appropriate level of context/detail has been provided.
  • Maintain a consistent, thorough and fair scoring system that aligns with client quality standards
  • Work closely with Third Bridge’s content compliance team to identify and escalate potential risks before they develop, and ensure the content production team has the appropriate training to understand and adhere to key compliance principles.
  • Use external research platforms and news sources to verify content accuracy or identify discrepancies and coordinate with the content production team if further specialist clarification is needed.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to escalate content for compliance review and act as a first line of defence in identifying potential compliance issues and/or breaches.

Team Management

  • Hire, onboard, train and develop a team of high-performing Quality Assurance Associates 
  • Lead your team to meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets whilst maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Drive high performance with your team, both in terms of volume of content reviewed daily and the quality of the grading itself, through regular 1:1s, coaching, feedback and performance management tools.
  • Align your team’s capacity to content production volumes and be reactive to business needs, building flexible resources that can be deployed at different stages of the content production and quality assurance process. 
  • Hold your team accountable to SLAs to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Create and maintain a culture of recognition and reward for strong performance & completion of short and long-term goals, in line with the company mission and values
  • Facilitate a culture of open and honest two-way communication, ensuring key messages are cascaded to all team members, encouraging feedback and sharing of ideas and best practice

Process Improvement

  • Provide on-the-spot feedback to the Content Production Team, as well as identifying trends and areas of improvement both individually and team-wide.
  • Work closely with the Content Production Managers to identify trends within the team and provide recommendations for areas for improvement.
  • Deliver training to content production team members based on the quality of output and observations
  • Maintain and update the Quality Assurance Style Guide, Playbook and all supporting/training documents
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders globally, including the Content Production, Compliance, and Operations teams, to ensure all content is of the highest standard

Qualifications

A successful candidate will

  • Be passionate about building a new product and excited by the unknown
  • Have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to develop our content offering
  • Have demonstrable experience in researching and summarising content with precision and accuracy
  • Have meaningful experience in dealing with written reports dedicated to the investment space
  • Be a results-driven team contributor who is able to effectively manage their time while maintaining a positive and “can-do” attitude
  • Be able to thrive in hybrid remote and in-office environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s Degree
  • 4+ years of experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Outstanding grasp of editorial principles
  • Fluent in English with an advanced understanding of grammatical principles
  • Highly developed attention to detail and research skills
  • Demonstrable interest in content that covers various sectors and financial markets
  • Eligible to work in Mumbai without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experiencing coaching and leading a team is preferred, but not required
