Ericsson Global Consulting is looking for a highly qualified Strategy Consultant at the Principal position to advise leading Communications Service Providers (CSPs) on their most strategic business and technology transformations.
Prior experience in a pure-play management consulting firm or in a dedicated business/ strategy consulting role within the telecommunications industry is mandatory.
As a trusted advisor to C-level executives and senior business and technology leaders, you will shape growth strategies, define business models, and develop transformation roadmaps across 5G Standalone (SA), Network Slicing, Private Networks, AI, IoT, and digital services .
The role is Global, and you will travel internationally based on customer demand.
What you will do
• Lead strategic consulting engagements for global telecom operators across 5G, Network Slicing, Private Networks, Telco Cloud, OSS/BSS, AI and digital transformation.
• Advise C-level executives on growth strategy, technology investments, monetization, business models, pricing, operating models and go-to-market strategies.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and facilitate executive workshops to influence strategic decisions.
• Develop market assessments, business cases, commercial strategies and executive-ready recommendations.
• Partner with Ericsson account teams to identify consulting opportunities, support sales pursuits, develop proposals and contribute to consulting revenue growth.
• Help achieve consulting sales targets by expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
• Develop consulting methodologies, reusable assets and thought leadership on emerging telecom trends including 5G SA, Network Slicing and enterprise connectivity.
• Mentor consultants, lead workstreams and ensure high-quality delivery across global consulting engagements.
What you will bring
• 15+ years of experience in management consulting or telecommunications strategy consulting.
• Mandatory experience in a pure-play consulting firm or a dedicated business/ strategy consulting role within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience engaging with CXO-level stakeholders and leading strategic transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in business development, consulting sales, proposal development and revenue growth.
• Strong expertise in one or more of the following domains: 5G SA, Network Slicing, Private Networks, Telco Cloud, OSS/BSS, AI, IoT, Digital Transformation or Enterprise Connectivity.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business case development, pricing, monetization and go-to-market strategy.
• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology; MBA from a leading business school is preferred.
