About This Role
 you will lead an established and highly experienced team of engineers whilst influencing the DevOps/SRE practices and solution across the organization. The Reliability Engineering function spans across the entire company meaning you'll be able to work with multiple teams across various products and platforms to ensure their software features are reliable for the build and launch & Operational teams.. You'll be joining a vital team as you'll help the team move into a new phase; transitioning from a reactive and operational function towards building a platform with high reliability of systems and software. Responsibilities:

• Owning Infra architecture and non-functional requirements, ensuring they fit into a cohesive vision aligned with the rest of the Technology roadmap of the environment .
• Responsible for ensuring alignment with Platform Development and delivering value which helps Platform run reliable services quicker.
• Ensuring that technology choices help best meet the needs of the business.
• Runs common infrastructure best practices focused on security, operational efficiency & cost efficiency that’ll help the rest of the business deliver value.

• Extensive experience within a strategic management role within an SRE function
• Solid Microservices based architecture knowledge
• Very good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Have a good understanding of building world class CICD(Gitlab,Jenkins) pipeline to enable faster build with quality , security automated
• Experience in enabling world class observability(Newrelic,Grafana, Cncf tools,opensearch) embedded in the platform for world class MTTD/MTTR
• Experience building & deploying multi cloud IAC  in an AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud based environment 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving skills

• Capable of managing multiple projects / teams concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail on each project.
• Manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem analysis skills to include the use of mathematical concepts to validate results.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience or exposure to DevOps or SRE 
• Experience managing SRE/DevOps/Sysops architecture solution implementations
• Experience architecting solutions for operationally efficient systems
• Understanding of hardware and software considerations
• Curiosity to identify and evolve the tools and techniques for improving security, reliability, performance , Quality and  availability of distributed web services
• Good knowledge of helping the team in designing the high load & low latency Applications infra
• Excellent knowledge in Containerization and Kubernetes.
• Good Exposure to Cloud computing platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is expected.
• Strong aptitude and experience in medium to large scale web operations and web-based architectures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing dynamic environment.
• Experience of application workload analysis and creating a workload profile of the application for performance testing
• Experience of Capacity Planning with approaches used in Projects.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD strategies with zero downtime.
• Development experience in Python is a plus
• CKA/CKAD/CKS or any other relevant cloud certification(s) is a plus
