Principal - Bid Management

Role Purpose:

As a Principal - Bid Management you will be driving the efficiency and effectiveness of highly complex bid processes. The individual will leverage their extensive experience in managing complex bids, exceptional analytical skills, and RFPIO certification to optimize bid strategies, deliver winning proposals, and support the achievement of business targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire bid process for highly complex proposals, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions. Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather necessary information and approvals.

• Utilize your certification and experience with the RFPIO tool to manage and streamline the bid response process. Ensure the effective use of RFPIO for content management, response automation, and collaboration.

• Develop compelling, clear, and concise proposals that meet client requirements and highlight Accelya’s strengths and differentiators. Tailor proposals to align with the strategic goals of the company and the specific needs of each client.

• Perform detailed data analysis to provide actionable insights into bid performance, win/loss ratios, and market trends. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management.

• Work closely with sales, pre-sales, product, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment and support for bid initiatives. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.

• Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and execute complex bid projects effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met and risks are managed.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Experience in bid management or a related field, with a focus on highly complex bids.

• RFPIO Certification: Must be RFPIO certified and experienced in using the tool to manage bid responses and content.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior management and other stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of influencing and driving change across an organization.

• Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and execute complex initiatives effectively.
