The Primary Section Co-Ordinator is responsible for academic leadership, teaching oversight, teacher mentoring, student engagement, and administration within the Primary section. They ensure compliance with educational standards and foster partnerships with parents.
Position: Primary Section Co-Ordinator
Reporting Manager: Head of Department / Principal
- Implement and monitor the ICSE Board
- Develop yearly planners, weekly lesson plans, and activity schedules.
- Ensure inquiry-based, experiential, and play-based learning methodologies.
- Ensure differentiation to meet diverse learner needs.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide structured feedback.
- Ensure learning corners and classroom environments are developmentally appropriate.
- Monitor student portfolios, assessments, and learning documentation.
- Track developmental milestones and school readiness indicators.
- Support, mentor, and evaluate Primary teachers.
- Conduct in-house training and professional development sessions.
- Guide teachers on international best practices and documentation standards.
- Facilitate collaborative planning meetings.
- Conduct parent orientation and curriculum workshops.
- Address parent queries regarding academic or developmental concerns.
- Ensure transparent reporting of student progress.
- Promote strong home-school partnerships.
- Prepare timetables for the Primary Section.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and safety standards.
- Oversee event planning (Annual Day, Sports Day, Celebrations).
- Maintain academic records and documentation.
