As part of the pricing team, you will be responsible for handling freight quotations, rate negotiations, and pricing strategies for sea export shipments. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end sea export pricing activities for freight forwarding operations
- Prepare competitive quotations for customers, agents, and internal sales teams
- Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, transporters, and overseas agents for freight rates and service updates
- Negotiate freight charges, local charges, and service terms to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Maintain updated records of pricing, tariffs, shipping schedules, and market trends
- Support sales and business development teams with accurate and timely pricing information
- Analyze market conditions and identify opportunities for improving pricing competitiveness
- Ensure smooth coordination between operations, documentation, and customer service teams
- Monitor shipment profitability and pricing accuracy
- Build strong relationships with vendors, shipping partners, and logistics stakeholders
- Assist in resolving pricing-related queries and operational escalations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping industry standards
