The Presales Consultant will be a strategic technical advisor and product expert, supporting the sales and product teams to deliver customized banking technology solutions to potential clients. This role involves demonstrating in-depth knowledge of banking products, understanding client-specific needs, and creating value-driven solutions that align with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Client Engagement & Solution Design:
- a. Collaborate with potential banking clients to understand their business requirements and technology challenges.
- b. Develop and propose customized banking technology solutions that align with the client’s business needs, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation goals.
- c. Conduct detailed product demonstrations, workshops, and technical deep dives to highlight the value and capabilities of the solutions.
- a. Serve as a subject matter expert on the company’s banking technology suite, including digital banking platforms, core banking systems, payments, lending, and compliance modules.
- b. Advise clients on technical and business aspects, ensuring the proposed solution meets both functional and compliance needs in the banking sector.
- a. Lead the response to RFPs, RFIs, and other client proposals, ensuring high-quality, technically accurate, and competitive responses.
- b. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling proposal content that addresses client pain points and regulatory compliance aspects.
- c. Conduct competitive analysis and help the sales team position the company’s products uniquely.
- a. Stay updated with banking regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends in banking technology (e.g., API integrations, UPI, digital payments).
- a. Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on client requirements and solution features.
- b. Provide feedback on client needs to the product team, helping shape the product roadmap and improvements
- a. Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, providing a trusted advisor role throughout the presales process.
- b. Ensure clients understand the technical and functional benefits of the proposed solutions to drive decision-making.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or consulting in banking technology or fintech environments.
- Strong background in digital banking, payments, core banking systems, and/or regulatory technology solutions.
- Proficiency with banking solutions, API integration, cloud technologies, and fintech innovations.
- Familiarity with banking regulatory standards, data security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business language.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in banking technology is a plus.
