The Role
You’ll be joining our Mumbai based BI Development team where you’ll be primarily working on the visual design and UX of internal operational reports which are distributed across all YouGov business units and departments. Your main technical tool will be Power BI, and in collaboration with the entire development team you will be taking our existing report offerings to the next level.
The role will report into the Finance Systems Team Lead.
Office Location: Mumbai
Shift Timings: 11am – 8pm (Indian Standard Time)
What will I be doing?
Development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards as part of an established suite of standard report packs, following an agile methodology
Adherence to existing reporting standards and contributions to advancing those standards
Research and prototype new and improved user experiences
Own deployment of reports
Performing regression testing
Maintain release notes and user documentations
Qualifications
What do I need to bring with me?
3-5 years of experience with Power BI (or similar reporting tool), specifically in the visual aspects of reports and dashboards
High level of attention to detail and accuracy alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Very good command of English
Ideally some knowledge and experience in the domains of Finance/Accounting, Sales/Marketing
Working experience of using source control tools (preferably Gitlab)
Working experience of DevOps and CI/CD principle (e.g. Octopus Deploy, Gitlab, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge of BI testing framework (e.g. NBi)
Knowledge of SQL
Working knowledge of DAX
