Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Architect to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI and a deep understanding of data architecture, BI best practices and Responsible for managing and administering our Power BI environment, ensuring optimal performance, and providing support to users.
This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that our Power BI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
•Administer and manage the Power BI environment, including user access, security, and data governance.
•Implement and manage Power BI gateways for data refresh and live queries.
•Configure and manage Power BI Premium & Fabric capacities and workspaces.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data sources, and connectivity.
•Monitor and optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and security
•Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
•Enforce governance policies and data architecture standards for Power BI.
•Strong understanding of Power BI data models, including DAX calculations and Power Query transformations
•Collaborate with Business stakeholders (key users) and onboard them on Power BI platform with governance and best practices.
•Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met in Power BI designs
•Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, Design trends and best practices, and implement them as appropriate.
•Provide guidance, training, and support to Power BI users and developers to ensure effective platform use.
•Qliksense knowledge is a plus and will be preferred
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Proven experience as a Power BI Administrator & Architect.
•Strong knowledge of Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Mobile.
•Experience with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Migration experience from Qliksense/Qlikview to Power BI is a plus and will be preferred
•Adaptability, project management & leadership will be crucial when working with cross-functional teams and ensuring adoption across departments
