Coordinate with Recruiters: Communicate with companies regarding job openings, eligibility criteria, recruitment schedules, and technical requirements.
Student Coordination: Inform eligible students about placement opportunities, job descriptions, selection procedures, and important deadlines.
Technical Screening: Coordinate technical assessments, coding tests, aptitude tests, and other pre-placement evaluations.
Interview Scheduling: Arrange technical interviews, coding rounds, group discussions, and other selection processes.
Maintain Placement Records: Maintain accurate records of student profiles, technical skills, applications, test results, interview status, and final selections.
Resume & Profile Management: Help students prepare and update technical resumes and ensure candidate information is shared correctly with recruiters.
Technical Training: Coordinate coding workshops, technical training sessions, mock interviews, industry talks, and skill-development programs.
Liaison with Departments: Work with faculty members, department coordinators, and the placement office to identify eligible candidates and organize recruitment activities.
Recruitment Support: Assist recruiters during campus visits, online assessments, technical interviews, and onboarding formalities.
Follow-up: Track the recruitment process from registration through final selection and joining.
Industry Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with companies, HR teams, recruiters, and industry professionals to increase technical placement opportunities.
Reporting: Prepare placement reports, recruitment statistics, and updates for management and placement authorities.
Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure that placement policies are followed and candidate/company information is handled confidentially.
Problem Resolution: Address issues related to technical tests, interview schedules, candidate eligibility, and communication between students and recruiters.
A Technical Placement Coordinator should have:
Strong communication and coordination skills
Basic understanding of technical/IT roles and recruitment processes
Knowledge of coding and technical assessment platforms
Good organizational and time-management skills
