Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for Europe. This role is responsible for ensuring payroll compliance with company policies and local labor and tax regulations while supporting process improvements and delivering a positive employee experience.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule in compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations.
- Review and validate timecards, resolve discrepancies, and ensure payroll data is complete and accurate.
- Audit payroll registers before funding and perform periodic audits to maintain payroll accuracy.
- Provide training and support to employees on the Time & Attendance (T&A) system.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll issues while supporting initiatives to simplify and standardize payroll processes.
- Review payroll forms, templates, and communications to ensure compliance with applicable laws and company standards.
- Support the implementation of new payroll policies and processes for assigned employee groups.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned countries.
- Manage payroll projects and process improvements with minimal supervision.
- 2–3 years of payroll experience supporting European countries.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, labor laws, and tax regulations across Europe.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
