Who we are looking for
As part of the newly constructed Products Team in India the candidate will play a key role in the subcustody billing process and be responsible for accurately validating subcustodian invoices against signed fee schedules and lead and participate in a new billing tool implementation (Myriad). As a sub- group of Network Management, the Candidate will partner closely with the Network Managers and the Business Groups to resolve outstanding issues and ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks. As senior most member in the team, the candidate would require to act as an SME and as backup to manager in various calls and drive the closing of initiatives that have started within the team. Manage daily BAU effectively and contribute to the continued development and success of the team .

What you will be responsible for
As Network Billing Officer you will
Check the accuracy of sub custodian invoices against signed fee schedules
Provide necessary timely and accurate information for payment instructions
Maintain team trackers
Updating of sub custody invoicing tool
Communicate with relevant internal teams and sub custodians
Identify control gaps within the process and propose changes
Lead and participate in new tool implementation (Myriad)
Handle more complex markets as part of regular work allocation
Become SME and the go to person for queries and issues
Assist team members with query handling and workload management
Back up for the manager and run projects & assignments independently with the team

Ability to interact with on-shore and off-shore teams to resolve inquiries and understanding when to escalate.
Ability to run calls and meeting covering for manager
Ability to complete the initiative started within the team
Ability to analyze errors within the team and look for additional controls or recommend process changes
Additional requirements
Prior Billing Operation experience
Comfortable using a variety of systems and applications all day
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking skills to effectively use a mix of art and science to understand the invoices and the calculation behind the charges
Open to learning new tool and openly embrace process change
Prior Project Management skill is an added advantage
Team will follow 12:00 to 21:00 shift and India holiday calendar
