Job Description: PHP Developer Laravel
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP developer with expertise in any MVC (Model-View-Controller) framework to join our dynamic team. As a PHP developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and the chosen MVC framework.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable code.
2. Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the MVC framework of your choice (such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, Yii, etc.).
3. Design and implement database structures and queries for optimal performance and reliability.
4. Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
5. Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and resolve any issues that arise during development or testing phases.
6. Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, ensuring high-quality code delivery.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in PHP development and laravel, and apply them to improve our development processes.
8. Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate the backend functionalities with responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely support and maintenance for existing applications.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and workflows by sharing your knowledge and suggesting enhancements.
Requirements:
1. Strong proficiency in PHP with a solid understanding of its core principles.
2. Experience working with Laravel.
3. Proficiency in database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
4. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
5. Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
6. Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
7. Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Codeception) and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
8. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
