Job Purpose/Overview

This is a critical feeder role to Global / Regional Marketing

  • The objective of the Role is to apply flywheel to build a strong brand funnel that allows customer conversion (from awareness, consideration, conversion to loyalty) to build strong brand equity.  

  • Create significant value for Royal Canin India by leveraging Global Portfolio opportunities and Developing Local Portfolio Innovation through possibilities of India Packing Center, in collaboration with other functions.

  • Achievement of key Business objectives and financials, particularly in terms of revenue, profit and cost leadership.

  • Responsible for marketing talent development, engagement, and effectiveness. Ensure Royal Canin India has the right organization structure and people - delivering business excellence for India and creating best practices for entire region.

Digitally savvy, functionally strong, marketing leader needs to build a center of excellence in the function to cater the needs to the business to accelerate growth in rapid growth market. Self-motivated leader who can persuade and sell ideas up, down and across the organization internally and externally.

  • Possess strong strategic agility and demonstrated ability to implement business strategies to gain competitive advantages.

  • Technical knowledge in: ECOMM, marketing campaigns, KPIs, dashboards, SEO, SEM, programmatic, Google Ads, Email marketing (CRM), Media management, Apps development.

  • Agency Management

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Portfolio Development

  • Work with R&D, Supply, Sales to build the innovation pipeline for packing center and ensure that we meet the timelines of the project.

  • Draw up a 3-year roadmap for the Portfolio (global & local) that ensures sufficiency for high growth

  • Digital Strategy, Activation & Media planning.

  • Driven by flywheel, develop a clear digital marketing strategy & execute to leverage the potential of social media, search & other online touch points to improve reach & build engagement, drive recommendation, enhance conversion & loyalty.

  • Improve the brand equity to be considered (1) worth the price and (2) being an expert in pet health.

  • Leverage global CMI to bring in clear actionable Consumer insights through consumer research (global & local) and Convert insights in actions and programs to accelerate the growth of the business

  • Define and track KPIs to measure success across digital marketing initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in targeting, campaigns, and engagement.

  • Lead media planning and ensure the marketing budgets are efficiently used to deliver the marketing objectives.

  • Build the capabilities to acquire & manage the data in compliance with GDPR, global & local guidelines.

  • Effectively allocate the A&CP budget and resources to ensure effective ROI according to global principles.

  • Talent Development

  • Build a robust pipeline of Marketing Talent in Royal Canin India

  • Elevate marketing capabilities to bring center of excellence vision to life by delivering business excellence for India and creating best practices for entire region.

  • Inspire and engage the Marketing team and drive a high-performance culture within team and across organization.

  • India Leadership team

  • Play an active role in the India Leadership in managing the India P&L

  • Role model leadership behaviors in HPC, 5 principles & RC Values (Team before Individual) beyond the scope of individual function

  • Drive common agenda within LT and engage all stakeholders local, regional, global & external to drive better collaboration & strong performance

  • Play active role in stepping up the effectiveness of S&OP+ (Feeder, Step and overall). 

  • Lead by example in establishing compliance & Governance culture.
