The Manager Sales is responsible for business identification, managing customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and achieving sales goals in the industrial product sector.
Principal Activities
Principal Activities
- Identification of business from existing and prospective customers in respective territory or areas of responsibility
- Techno commercial negotiation, coordination at RFQ stage , follow up for order conversion. implement full sales cycle, including market research, detailed RFQ probing, pitching, closing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Order handling, contract review, coordinating with factory & OMC & customer for documents approval.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities through various leads.
- Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer retention.
- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships through tactical Key account management approach.
- implement the Sales development plans and strategies of organizations for respective region to achieve sales goals.
- Responsible for sales goals, metrics, and milestones. Track and report on progress periodically.
- Keep track of various relevant trade shows and exhibitions to participate and improve our Brand/Product Awareness
Requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Experience in managing major accounts customers and large contracts or even a business, particularly achieving genuine sales development.
- Hands on experience / understanding of Pump/Valves business
- Negotiation skills
- Competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals.
- Good regional exposure and ability to identify Opportunities
- Prior experience in proposal management and Application engineering would be an advantage
Education & Experience
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Post Graduate degree in Management would be an added advantage
- 8-10 yrs of experience in Industrial product / project sales.
