Job Purpose/Objective   

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Commodities/Industry sector, including e-commerce companies, technology manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
2.   Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategies.
3.   Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.
4.   Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and benefits of our logistics services.
5.   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless delivery of services to clients.
6.   Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standards.
7.   Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the technology and consumer durables sector, including senior executives, supply chain managers, and procurement officers.
8.   Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
9.   Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, sales achievements, and areas for improvement.
10.   Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to the technology and consumer durables sector and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all business activities.

1.   Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the logistics or related industry, with specific experience in the Commodities/Industry
2.   In-depth knowledge of the technology and consumer durables industry, including market dynamics, trends, key players, and supply chain requirements.
3.   Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, persuade and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
4.   Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex logistics solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
5.   Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and overcome obstacles.
6.   Strong relationship-building skills to establish and maintain fruitful partnerships with clients, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders.
7.   Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
8.   Analytical skills to analyze market data, sales metrics, and customer feedback to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
9.   Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
10.   Flexibility to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities
