> Role Overview
- We are hiring a Manager for Sales - Education - to lead and build a SaaS
business across North India through the employer company.
- This is a foundational leadership role, where the candidate will not only drive revenue but also build the entire sales engine from scratch-including strategy, pipeline, and team through company's technologies distribution network.
- The role offers a clear path to grow into a Head - Sales as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end enterprise sales across schools.
- Establish the product in the market.
- Build and execute the sales strategy from 0→1 in collaboration
- Create and manage a high-quality pipeline (inbound + outbound + network-led)
- Engage with decision-makers (School Owners, Principals, Management, Government bodies)
- Hire and Lead Sales Team.
- Lead consultative sales cycles involving demos, pilots, and negotiations.
- Close high-value deals (₹10L – ₹1Cr+) across private and government institutions
- Hire, train, and lead a sales team over time
- Work closely with company's distribution network to enable and scale sales efforts
- Continuously refine positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
- Full authority to hire and scale the sales team over time
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5-6 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, preferably in EdTech SaaS in top companies.
- Proven track record of closing high-ticket institutional deals (₹10L–₹1Cr+)
- Experience selling to schools, school groups, universities, or government
education bodies
- Strong understanding of long sales cycles and consultative selling
- Ability to build and scale sales functions from scratch
- Comfortable operating in a 0→1, ambiguous, high-ownership environment
- Strong network and closing ability is mandatory.
Compensation:
- Competitive fixed salary (₹10–15 LPA, based on experience)
- High-performance variable incentives linked to revenue
- Additional upside based on scale and performance
Preferred Background:
- Candidates from leading EdTech or education solution companies (SaaS/ERP/LMS) will be preferred.
- From the companies like : LEAD School, Extramarks, Teachmint, Next Education, Top ERP and LMS companies.
