The Opportunity at Komodo Health: 

Mavens is a Komodo Health company focused on delivering Salesforce-based solutions that drive workflow and digital engagement across the life sciences industry. The Mavens Managed Services team partners closely with our  customers post initial implementation to support long term success with our solutions. Our managed services team serves as trusted advisors who understand both the evolving technology and the business challenges our customers face.

The Managed Services Team Lead role focuses on ensuring the consistent, high-quality delivery of technical services across a portfolio of customers within a practice area (Medical Information, Scientific Publications, or Research & Grants). This role provides senior-level oversight for a team of Managed Services Consultants, acting as an escalation point, subject matter expert, and working manager who drives alignment in how services are delivered, maintains quality standards, and fosters strong customer and team relationships. By combining hands-on engagement with strategic oversight, the Managed Services Lead ensures that customers realize the full value of their partnership with Mavens while enabling their team to grow and succeed.

Build and retain talent

Coaching, performance feedback, and identification of growth opportunities for team members

Own team operations including PTO coverage, customer transitions from implementation, and process improvement initiatives
Create enthusiastically reference able customers

  • Minimize disruption and distractions by owning customer success and driving cross-functional alignment (sales, engineering, and implementation teams)
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs and seek ways to expand presence and drive additional revenue  in existing customers

Be the trusted advisor

    • Maintain deep expertise in Mavens products and life sciences industry trends

Optimize operations

    • Increase profitability by identifying and applying AI across service delivery
Competencies
  • Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry expertise, with a strong understanding of the technology and business needs specific to this domain.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of consultants or technical professionals, with a track record of developing team members and driving high-quality outcomes, delivering feedback, and creating a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to navigate challenging conversations and expand Mavens’ presence with professionalism and clarity.
  • Experience working in managed services environments
  • Strong written and verbal skills

Roles vary — some can be performed from anywhere in the country, others are scoped to a specific region, and some are based near one of our hubs.
