  • Develop an understanding of features of Non-profit & With-profit products and their sensitivities to key risk drivers.
  • Carry out various tasks for Capital Modelling and Reporting along with ad-hoc process improvements.
  • Produce RSG (risk scenario generation) files and conduct stress and scenario testing.
  • Maintain audit trails / version controls to demonstrate adequacy of spreadsheet controls for future enhancements to tools.
  • Draft and maintain up-to-date, appropriate documentation and checklists for any processes that are implemented.
  • Work with colleagues across other areas within Finance and Risk to support delivery of financial reporting in line with regulatory deadlines.
  • Responsible for learning and applying actuarial concepts to deliver accurate and timely work under guidance from experienced team members.
  • Works within clearly defined processes and frameworks, seeking clarification when needed and following instructions carefully to ensure quality.
  • Delivers assigned tasks and outputs as per given specifications, focusing on accuracy and attention to detail while developing problem-solving skills.
  • Actively participates in team discussions and shares ideas, asking questions and suggesting improvements based on observations and newly acquired knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with colleagues at different geographical location, ensuring seamless communications.
  • Seek and act on opportunities to develop wider and deeper technical and business understanding of capital models.
  • Build good working relationships with stakeholders in wider team and outside of the team.
  • Maintaining effective communication with Stakeholders and leadership team members.
  • Compliance – Ensure understanding and adherence to M&G’s Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.
