Job Description
We are looking for a Management Trainee to help us unlock our vast amounts of data via effective modelling and advanced analytics, enabling us to make smarter decisions and deliver even better products to our clients. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems and automated scores using machine learning, integrated with our products.
What you’ll be doing (Job responsibilities for this role)
- This role is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing multiple and complex Analytics projects from concept to implementation on time, within budget and in line with client expectations.
- You’ll play an integral role to Engage Business Consultants and delivery teams appropriately so that there is a shared understanding and agreement as to deliver proposed solution
Qualifications
What you’ll need to bring along
- You’ll need to be a curious problem solver who can get a question and use data to answer in a clear and straightforward way
- You must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the Analytics requirements of multiple teams.
- We want you to be excited by the prospect of working with large and diverse datasets using cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
- A strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Knowledge of different modelling frameworks like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree
- Decent understanding and hands-on of statistical modelling/data analysis tools especially Python and/or SAS
- Applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing and inferencing.

- Ability to read and understand a Credit Report
- Ability to check the details of a complaint / dispute
- Understand the process of resolution of complaints / disputes
- Make suggestions to improve the process
