Manage end-to-end freight payment operations, including invoice validation, carrier payments, freight-forwarder coordination, issue resolution, payment tracking, and stakeholder reporting. Review transport invoicing performance, prepare weekly payment reviews, track supply-chain KPIs, and lead process improvements to reduce spending and cycle time. The role requires logistics expertise across import, export, warehouse, and domestic dispatch operations, along with project ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
Logistics Analyst/ Logistics Analyst II (Roles & Responsibilities)
- This position is overall responsible for driving & leading Freight end to end payments for CORP Global.
- Co-ordination with Freight forwarders for resolving payment related queries.
- Ability to understand Freight related documentation
- Ensure Freight Invoices are billed as per Contractual rate card
- Deliver Timely payments for Freight carriers
- Identifying Freight Payment owners
- Ownership qualities in getting the issue identifying and proceeding to close the issue
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Tracking of Invoice status & feedback to all stakeholders
- Issue resolution & problem solving to ensure timely payments.
- Review of transport performance with respect to Invoicing
- Prepare Transport Payment review on weekly basis
- Take Process Improvement initiatives to reduce spend & Cycle Time
- Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance
ResponsibilitiesQualification: -
- PGDBM (Supply chain) /International Business/Business Administration with around 3 to 4 years of experience in Logistics industry for EXIM (Export & Import) operations.
- Experience in handling End to End Logistics Payments i.e. Import/Warehouse/Domestic dispatch/Export. Manage Export/Import Forwarding operations with focus on identifying Cost saving and SLA improvement.
- Must have proven track record of Successful Handling of New Projects
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of logistic terminology and relevant data elements for reporting preferred.
