Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate electronic recording, tracking, and control of all linen, uniform, and related inventory in line with company policies and established inventory control procedures.
• Work closely with the Hotel Inventory Manager and Hotel Storekeeper to maintain appropriate stock levels of linens and uniforms, conduct regular quality checks, perform physical stock counts, and monitor consumption trends, promptly highlighting any discrepancies or unusual patterns.
• Support the loading, receiving, and secure storage of hotel stores, ensuring all inventory and product control policies are followed and contributing to the reduction of slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Provide timely and efficient service to internal departments by issuing, receiving, and organizing uniforms and linens to meet operational PAR and departmental requirements.
• Coordinate daily with the Laundry Master to optimize the use, rotation, and lifespan of linens and uniforms, ensuring adherence to company policies, USPHS and Fleet Regulations, and other internal and external standards.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to audit queries related to linen and uniform inventory, participating in monthly Hotel Stores meetings to review performance, address issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Promote a safe, compliant, and service-focused work environment, following all Health, Environmental, Safety, and Security (HESS) requirements and actively supporting shipboard emergency and safety procedures as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Previous experience working with linen, uniform, or hotel stores operations, ideally within a cruise, hospitality, or large-scale hotel environment.
• Sound understanding of linen and laundry processes, including fabric types, quality standards, and care requirements, with the ability to identify wear, damage, or quality issues.
• Experience using inventory management or stock-control systems, along with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, shipboard environment.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to record-keeping, stock counts, and reconciliation of variances.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with teammates and internal stakeholders.
• A guest- and service-focused mindset, demonstrating genuine care for passengers and teammates and a commitment to supporting an exceptional onboard experience.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, multicultural team, showing flexibility, reliability, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Willingness and ability to follow company policies, Public Health (e.g. USPH), safety, and environmental regulations, and to participate in required training and emergency duties.
