NMDPL: Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia’s largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.

Job Purpose: The Lead - Strategy is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, decision-making frameworks, and feasibility assessments for various projects within NMDPL. This role involves extensive research, stakeholder engagement, financial modeling, and charter development to support informed decision-making. The role will oversee project visibility, product mix strategies, industrial resettlement, and financial planning while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead Strategy

Strategic Planning & Decision Making:

Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that align with NMDPL's vision, ensuring long-term growth and competitiveness.

Lead brainstorming sessions and feasibility studies for diverse projects, including religious structures and market research visibility.

Develop and implement asset mix and phasing strategies for construction start and development sequencing.

Oversee product mix planning and industrial structure resettlement strategies.

Formulate and manage all strategic initiatives to align with business and development goals.

Project Feasibility & Charter Development:

Conduct comprehensive market research and visibility assessments for project viability.

Draft and maintain charters for projects, ensuring decision-making processes in design and construction are well-documented.

Establish and manage a centralized database for future project references and strategic planning.

Stakeholder Management:

Engage with the DRP, senior stakeholders, and government bodies to align project strategies with regulatory and business requirements.

Prepare and present strategic insights and reports to senior leadership and the Chief Minister’s (CM) Office.

Financial Oversight & Modeling:

Develop and monitor annual business plans, financial targets, and budget preparations for all stakeholders.

Conduct in-depth financial modeling to analyze project feasibility from a 360-degree perspective.

Ensure financial plans align with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Presentation & Reporting:

Prepare decks and reports to facilitate high-level discussions and decision-making processes.

Consolidate project insights and feasibility findings for executive review and government presentations.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations or a related field.

Work Experience (Range of years):

15-20 Years

Preferred Industry:

Experience in strategy, consulting, financial modeling, or real estate development. Proven expertise in market research, feasibility studies, and stakeholder management.
