Lead Proposition Management, Transit

Own the roadmap and lifecycle for transit payment products, including RuPay On-the-Go. Identify market opportunities, define propositions, develop business cases, and drive launches and adoption. Coordinate with banks, transit operators, AFC providers, technology partners, certification, operations, risk, and business teams. Monitor performance, customer feedback, revenue, and adoption metrics while supporting business development, compliance, ecosystem enablement, and AI-based initiatives.

Experience: 5–8 Years of experience
in Product Management, Payments, FinTech, Mobility, Transit, or Consulting
Qualification: BE / B.Tech or
equivalent
Role Contour
- Own and drive the product roadmap for Transit
payment solutions, including RuPay On-The-Go and related mobility payment
products.
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs,
and industry trends to define product enhancements and new solutions.
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management,
from conceptualization and business case creation to launch and adoption.
- Collaborate with transit operators, banks, system
integrators, AFC providers, and technology partners to expand product
acceptance and usage.
- Ensure successful execution of product
initiatives by coordinating with technology, certification, operations,
risk, and business teams.
- Monitor product performance, business growth, and
customer feedback to drive continuous improvements.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and manage the Transit product roadmap
aligned with business objectives and market requirements.
- Drive feature development, product enhancements,
and innovation initiatives for Transit payment products.
- Work closely with banks, terminal vendors, AFC
providers, card manufacturers, and payment ecosystem partners to enable
product rollouts.
- Engage with certification, technology, and
operations teams to ensure timely implementation and deployment of product
features.
- Collaborate with transit operators to understand
business challenges and provide appropriate payment and ticketing
solutions.
- Identify and develop new use cases to enhance
customer adoption and transaction volumes.
- Conduct market research and competitive
benchmarking to identify product improvement opportunities.
- Prepare business cases, pricing models, and
product propositions to support commercial growth.
- Track key product metrics, performance
indicators, customer adoption, and revenue outcomes.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across internal and
external ecosystems to ensure successful product delivery.
- Drive AI based initiatives for transit to improve
customer experience and get more use cases included to grow transit
business.
- Support business development teams in customer
presentations, RFP responses, and solution discussions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, scheme, and
operational requirements relevant to Transit products.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Payments, Cards, Transit, Mobility,
FinTech, or Digital Commerce domains.
- Exposure to NCMC, Open Loop Transit Payments,
EMV/RuPay Card Ecosystem, AFC Systems, or Public Transport Solutions.
- Experience in managing products involving
multiple external stakeholders and technology integrations.
- Familiarity with certification processes, partner
onboarding, and ecosystem enablement.
