Leads end-to-end design coordination from concept through GFC, managing architectural and allied consultants, design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination, code compliance, constructability, documentation, and site support. Ensures design intent aligns with business objectives, cost, quality, procurement, and execution timelines. Establishes design governance, change control, document management, and standardized best practices across real estate, hospitality, commercial, and township projects.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and issue comprehensive design briefs covering product positioning, customer segments, unit mix, brand intent, cost parameters and functional requirements. 2. Lead design development across stages (concept, schematic, DD, GFC) ensuring alignment with business objectives, aesthetics, functionality and constructability. 3. Manage architectural and allied consultants (structural, MEP, façade, landscape, interiors) ensuring timely deliverables and coordination across disciplines. 4. Conduct periodic design reviews, resolve interface conflicts and ensure closure of coordination issues to avoid rework during execution. 5. Perform detailed design checks for accuracy, code compliance, buildability, safety and adherence to internal design standards and specifications. 6. Drive timely issuance of GFC drawings, details and schedules aligned to site execution plans and procurement timelines. 7. Provide ongoing site support through RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, mock-up approvals and coordination with project teams. 8. Implement design governance including document control, version management, change control workflows and approval protocols. 9. Capture design learnings and standardize templates, details, specifications and best practices for improved efficiency and consistency across projects.
Qualifications Qualifications Essential B.Arch / B.Des / Bachelor in Interior / Landscape / Urban Design, as relevant to the position.
