Lead contract drafting, review, negotiation, and compliance for hotel, vendor, and partner agreements. Manage contract repository, monitor performance and renewals, advise business teams on deal structure and risk, support policy and template development, and ensure governance and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
Contract Management & Legal Compliance
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts with hotel operators, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support the business development team in deal structuring, risk assessment, and finalization.
- Review and approve contracts related to procurement, operations, design, and business development agreements.
- Maintain a centralized repository of all contracts, ensuring proper recordkeeping and accessibility.
- Monitor contract performance, compliance, and renewal timelines.
Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Partner with asset management, operations, and business development teams to align contracts with strategic and financial objectives.
- Provide timely legal advice and guidance to support operational and commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to evaluate contract terms impacting financial performance.
- Support the Head of Legal & Compliance in the development and implementation of contract policies, procedures, and templates.
Risk Management & Governance
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate contractual and compliance risks proactively.
- Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits and ensure all contractual practices are compliant with statutory and corporate standards.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; professional legal certifications preferred.
Proven track record in negotiating complex commercial agreements.
Exposure to asset management, business development, or vendor management is an advantage
Experience: 7 – 10 Years, Real Estate (Hospitality segment) / International Hotel Brands, Hospitality
