Job Role: AWS DevOps Engineer with WAF and FinOps

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in designing, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure automation, FinOps practices, and should hold a valid AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect). Experience in implementing granular WAF policies and serverless services is essential. Exposure to Generative AI is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement granular WAF (Web Application Firewall) rules tailored for WebAPI environments.
- Develop and manage scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Drive FinOps practices by implementing automation and recommendations to manage and reduce network and data transfer costs (e.g., TGW).
- Ensure infrastructure security, performance, and cost-efficiency using DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud infrastructure with business and product needs.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and support high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with a focus on AWS.
- Strong expertise in AWS networking, WAF, and serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, EventBridge).
- Hands-on experience in cloud cost optimization, including automation of financial operations (FinOps).
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and system monitoring.
- AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional) is required
