About Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager with a strong background
in managing clients within the AEC/BIM software development domain. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for nurturing long-term customer relationships, understanding
project requirements, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring successful delivery of
software development projects tailored to AEC/BIM workflows.
This role requires a combination of client management, technical understanding of
BIM/AEC processes, and software project coordination
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients from the AEC/BIM industry.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Understand client goals, workflows, BIM standards, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular review meetings, presentations, and business discussions with
clients.
Project Coordination
• Work closely with software development, product, QA, and design teams to ensure
project success.
• Translate client needs into clear technical requirements and project briefs.
• Track project progress, deliverables, and timelines, proactively resolving roadblocks.
• Ensure seamless communication and alignment between internal teams and clients.
Business Growth & Upselling
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
• Contribute to account growth strategies and revenue targets.
• Prepare proposals, SOWs, and contracts in collaboration with leadership teams.
Issue Management
• Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor client satisfaction and take proactive steps to improve it.
• Maintain documentation related to projects, decisions, and client interactions.
Reporting & Analytics
• Provide weekly/monthly account status reports to management.
• Analyse account performance, financial health, and customer usage trends.
• Maintain CRM records accurately and consistently.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the AEC
industry.
• Strong understanding of the AEC project lifecycle and stakeholder dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel as needed.
