Job Summary: The Transport Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of both dry and refrigerated vehicles to support JustDeliveries' logistics operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of vendor partners and experience in onboarding owner-driver vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with vehicle providers for both dry and refrigerated transportation needs.
Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with transport vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
Onboarding Owner-Driver Vehicles: Develop and implement processes to onboard owner-driver vehicles, ensuring they meet company standards and compliance requirements.
Field Sourcing Activities: Conduct on-field sourcing activities to identify and engage potential transport partners, aligning with sales team requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in transport sourcing or logistics management
Proven experience in managing both dry and refrigerated transportation.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Experience in onboarding owner-driver vehicles and conducting field sourcing activities.
Existing network of vendor partners in the transportation industry.
