Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Support & Website Administrator to manage and maintain our business-critical WordPress websites, provide day-to-day IT support, assist with ISO audit activities, and support basic network security operations. This role is hands-on and broad — the primary focus is WordPress website management and change tracking, with supporting responsibilities across IT helpdesk, compliance assistance, and network security.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Administration (Primary)
• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot WordPress websites. Identify and resolve front-end issues using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Track and document all changes made to websites — including plugin updates, theme modifications, content changes, and configuration updates — maintaining a clear change log.
• Handle plugin/theme updates, security patches, and regular backups. Optimise site performance (speed, uptime, mobile responsiveness).
• Manage and configure hosting environments (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudways). Enforce and monitor website security best practices.
• Implement and maintain Zoho integrations (CRM, Forms, SalesIQ, MA, Campaigns, etc.). Set up and maintain contact forms, chat widgets, and lead tracking systems using Zoho Sales IQ & MA.
• Configure and monitor Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools. Manage and improve on-page and technical SEO. Track and report website traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Collaborate with marketing/content teams to ensure SEO-friendly design and structure. Liaise with third-party vendors (hosting providers, domain registrars, etc.).
IT Support:
• Provide first-line IT helpdesk support to end users — hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and track support tickets to resolution. Assist with basic network monitoring and flag anomalies.
• Support configuration and maintenance of network devices (switches, access points, routers), help maintain network documentation including topology diagrams, IP registers, and device inventories.
• Follow and enforce basic security hygiene practices across the office network.
• Support the team in preparing documentation, evidence, and records required for ISO 27001 audits.
• Assist in maintaining policy documents, control registers, and audit trails. Help coordinate internal audit activities and follow up on action items and non-conformities.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of Proven experience managing multiple WordPress websites.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress CMS, front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, DNS, SSL certificates, backups).
• Experience with SEO principles and tools (Yoast, Rank Math, Google Search Console).
• Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts, page errors, and responsive design issues.
• Experience with basic website security practices (Word Fence, reCAPTCHA, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) for IT support tasks.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 documentation and audit processes is an additional advantage.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, IP addressing).
• Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier or Zoho Flow. Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL is preferable.
• Strong sense of website UX and performance. Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
