Design and implement automated test suites and reusable frameworks for backend trading systems and APIs using Python and C++. Validate databases and trades via SQL, contribute to CI/CD, run integration and performance/load tests, collaborate with product and engineering, report defects, and drive cross-team test strategies for low-latency trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation test suites for backend systems, APIs, and databases.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks using Python (PyTest, Requests) and C++ (gTest, Boost.Test).
- Collaborate with development, product to define test requirements and acceptance criteria..
- Perform database validations (SQL queries, consistency checks, trade/order data validation).
- Participate in client discussions, providing clear test strategies, reporting defects, and aligning on quality expectations.
- Drive cross-team collaboration to ensure smooth integration testing between trading engines, risk systems, and data pipelines.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated regression and smoke tests.
- Support performance and load testing under real-world scenarios.
Required Skillset
- Understanding of multi-threaded programming
- Network and socket programming knowledge
- Experience with inter process communication
- Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team player
